That makes 8 runs and 26 miles total in 2011 - a marathon of sorts!

three mile run and a sprint finish
First run with lunchtime runners at work for ages. Managed a fair paced three miles with a sprint at the end and have felt good about that for the rest of the day. It was great out in the sun and running with company.

latest run update
whilst twitter free, I'll need to record here my first run for a while. Did four miles, longest for a couple of months, bringing the total number of runs during 2011 up to seven runs totalling 23 miles. Maintaining an average of just over three miles, that's the main thing!

New PB today!
4 and a half miles, furthest I've run non-stop, it took 47 minutes though, but included a 200ft ascent...
and I weighed myself for the first time in months... it's a bit disappointing so I won't tell you now.
Also did approx 3 and a half to 4 miles last Wednesday, and approx 3 miles the Wednesday before. That makes it four Wednesdays in a row - I'm so good!

Running again
Went out last Wednesday for the first time since July, did about 3 miles. Haven't weighed myself in an age, the school holidays and trip to Las Vegas haven't helped!

Running commentary
I appear to be in compensation mode. Went out twice with Ange in June, doing 1.8 miles (~18mins) on 2nd June and 2.8 miles on the 23rd (~30mins). I then did 4.25 miles on my own on 25th (36-something over the 3.5 mile timed section) and again today (no times).

recent news
Well it's been a while.
The following Wednesday I did a new PB over the timed section of the 3.5 miles - something like 32.5 minutes.
This was promptly followed by getting my weight down to the magic 12 stones again - a cold with bad cough that wouldn't shift, school holidays and other stuff meant no running, and the weight climbing back up to 12 st 4 lbs - back where it was after Christmas. So no net gain.
Been out the last couple of weeks, but missed this week. Ought to try and get a run in over the Bank Holiday weekend I suppose.
By the way, this the fist post via wifi from my new iPod touch - cool eh?

run log update
Well, I can't beleive we're into Feb 2008, and I've kept up the running most weeks for over a year now. Currently up to about 4 miles at a time, I need to go more frequently before extending my distance I think.
Didn't make it to the 10K down at Powderham at the end of September which was a shame. Went out twice last week, which is unusual, and managed to shake of 3 pounds that have been hanging on since Christmas.
So, 4 miles done on each of 16th, 24th, 28th and 30th Jan.
